Peterborough Diner - Featured in AAA Magazine

“The setting of Thornton Wilder’s classic play Our Town is partly inspired by Peterborough, an artsy town of winding streets and quaint architecture. The vibrant green Peterborough Diner faces Depot Street and serves as a focal point for much of the town’s social activity. The 1950 Worcester diner car sports eight booths, four inside tables, and 16 counter stools as well as seasonal outdoor tables out front. Open 7 a.m.–2 p.m. daily.

Dishes to try: The breakfast bowl combines scrambled eggs, home fries, meat, cheddar cheese, and chopped veggies. The Diner Joe is a hefty sloppy joe sandwich. Owner Melanie Neily says they are known for their Reuben.”
