Preserving the History, One Bar Stool at a Time

During our interior renovation of the Peterborough Diner in January, 2025, one detail mattered more than anything else—preserving the history of our 1949 Worcester Lunch Car. Our original bar stools are a part of that story, and while time had taken its toll, replacing them was never an option.

We searched across New Hampshire and Massachusetts for the right partner who understood both the craftsmanship and the responsibility of restoring such a meaningful piece of the diner’s past. We were fortunate to find KG Performance Solutions, who took on the challenge with care, precision, and pride.

Thanks to their incredible work, our original bar stools have been brought back to life, honoring the diner’s history while ensuring they’ll be enjoyed for many years to come.
